Great Engine Tool for Automotive Enthusiasts

As an unsure DIY mechanic, I was hesitant about purchasing this exhaust sprocket tool for my Impreza. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice and this tool's user-friendly design, the installation process was a breeze. Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting materials ensure reliable performance.
Cons
  • Installation requires technical expertise and may lead to damage if not done correctly.

Seems to work - Motor Tools

Fits and everything except the gear screw keeps getting stuck. Mine did the trick and even with that tool I kind of messed up the assembly because it's plastic, in the future I'll probably use an old belt and vise.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • It's fine

Job Done - Pulley Tools

Tool works well I used this to time my 2006 STi after I built my last engine. Heavy gauge steel is used so I'm sure it will last, it has a zinc coating to resist corrosion. The gears fit tight, I wasn't afraid of breaking anything. For the price unbeatable.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
