I buy primarily based on other people's reviews. When I received this item I found a small card that said if I gave them a 5 star rating they would give me a $30 Revain gift card. Essentially making a $30 device and invalidating every 5 star review I've seen. I returned this product because of the noise, poor suction and misleading advertising.

I am soooo disappointed. I loved this product for the 3 months it worked (purchased April 2020). Now doesn't seal anything "wet" (e.g. raw chicken or anything with juices). I took great care of it. I wipe it down after each use; I keep it in the box it came in; I wait more than 40 seconds between seals as he states. I really wish I could get my money back.

I bought this because I wanted to start vacuuming food before putting it in the freezer. I could not get this item to empty the pouches before sealing. He says he sucks and makes a sound like the suction is on and after a while he seals the bag but doesn't suck the air out. Thus, the air is trapped INSIDE the bag. I didn't pay for that. After that I will buy another brand.
