This net is very versatile and easy to use. Only downside is drilling for installation but this is a great addition to my Mazda6 trunk.

A little grease or washing-up liquid makes it easier to fit the mounting caps. This step also prevents corrosion from forming in these newly enlarged holes.

Mesh doesn't look like the picture. It has extra mesh on the front - not sure if it's supposed to be an extra pocket? No instructions given. Not bad to install, but not happy with all the extra grilling and lack of clarification.

You will need to drill but this is only to enlarge the existing holes. There are only 2 holes that need to be made larger and these are the lower ones on the plastic protection on the back of the boot. The network is good and dense, I'm glad I have it.

Installed on Mazda 6 2018. Installation can be a bit tricky depending on the size of your drill as others have described but once installed it's perfect for transporting small items to keep them from flying around . . Compared to other nets (and the OEM version) this is a steal! High quality product at a great price. Highly recommended!

Good price. The facility isn't that bad. Don't be afraid to drill your car, but try to drill the hole as straight as possible or you will be in trouble. After making the first hole you will be a pro at holes 2, 3 and 4. I suggest using a magnet to collect metal shavings. Be sure to use the specified drill bit size, which you should check first if you have one. Before purchasing I first checked the original OEM number of the 2018 Mazda 6 and this trunk net came up in my search. After reading the reviews and instructions for this cargo net, I set about researching the OEM cargo net and both involved the same installation process: drilling out the push pin mount holes. I have a 2017.5 Mazda 6 and bought this boot net in December 2018. The kit has everything I need and the instructions are for a Mazda 6 and were surprisingly good. The instructions take you step-by-step through the removal of the necessary parts inside the trunk, culminating in a black plastic paneling inside the trunk under the trunk edge. This plastic part has latches with push pins that secure it to the trunk wall. In the kit, pressure pins are replaced by nuts and T-anchors. The luggage…
