Dyson DC07 DC14 Vacuum Clutch Brush Roller Agitator, Belts, and Belt Changing Tool by Envirocare: A Comprehensive Solution Review

I thought this tool would be perfect. Replacing belts is not an easy task. It looked too easy. When the pin broke off I found that Dyson replacement bands seem to be a lot stronger than the tool. Back to the flathead screwdriver. Maybe it works better for someone, but I got a defective one. But the brush is good.

Beater and straps are a perfect match. However, the simple installation is very difficult for the average consumer. This is not the supplier's fault, it just so happens that you have to remove the clutch and have special tools to disassemble and reassemble the clutch after we install the belts. I found a youtube video on how to fix and I already had the necessary tools from other jobs I do. The parts fit perfectly and the sweeper works great now.

My old roller's brushes are worn out, but the new one works great! The assembly tool used to hold the belt upright is junk made in China. As soon as I slipped the strap over a pull tab, the cheap weld broke and the pull tab became bent, rendering it unusable. I tried using a different tab and the same thing happened. Don't waste your money on this useless tool. Just use 2 people to change the roller.

Great set, it even has a tool to pull the strap up so you can slide the baton underneath and then release the strap to hook the baton. If you have a DC14 with a clutch system the only thing you really get in this kit is a brush. The belt support tool doesn't fit at all. The belt hook tool isn't actually needed to pull out the old brush. In any case, brute force is what counts. Includes 2 straps. The belt connecting the engine and clutch is useless as it is stuck in the clutch assembly, requiring the clutch assembly and belt to be replaced as a whole.
