These bags are quite strong for a compost bag. Most bags just fall apart and we have a lot of compost so we can't use flimsy bags. I've been to Costco and seen regular bags hold 0.9ml and these hold 0.85ml which is very close to a regular bin liner. Time in the jars before throwing away because, hey!, compostable! :) But compared to OTHER brands we've tried, these are by far the most durable.
