These are great socks for babies and toddlers. Nice and thick with handles on the bottom. We only buy socks for our kids so they don't slip on our hardwood.

The grip is good, prevents slips and falls as my boy likes to take off his shoes. They don't go well with shoes as they are difficult to slip into, but are great for walking barefoot.

This condition says it fits 12-36 months which seems like a very big size difference. I don't know how well they fit a 12 month old baby. My son who is 18 months is a size 5 and they fit perfectly.
