Great MPPT controller

it lets me know everything that is going on how many amps my solar panels are outputting how many volts it lets me know everything and that's what I wanted so I'm not talking now about anything else I don't think.

Pros
  • Great fun
Cons
  • Some little things

Very important! in Energy Regulator

Excellent Quality! Programming requires you to watch a few videos. MT50 is a big plus and definitely needed! The software is clunky and awkward to use. However, it works great for powering 2 x 100W solar panels and 2 x 100Ah lithium batteries!

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • High Price

Product Overview Best in Solar & Wind Energy

While I love the features and versatility of this item, I don't care about the manufacturer's quality. The set screws for attaching wires to devices are made of soft material and once you tighten them you can't loosen and retighten them as they are exposed.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Good price, difficult to program for lithium batteries

Easy to connect. Good default gel and lead acid settings. You must read the manual well to see the limitations and dependencies for lithium. It takes some time to get it right as some parameters need to be entered first. Powers my 24V 100A batteries with good results.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Best MPPT charge controller I've found at this price

It tracks my solar power perfectly (and fast) and uses an optimal voltage. They seem to react very quickly. It really pays off with higher power output than a PWM charge controller. I did a direct comparison with my PWM controller and noticed a noticeable improvement with this charge controller.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Easy Peasy for Solar and Wind Power

I bought this portable solar panel for my RV. It is based on a pair of flexible 100 watt panels. I bought this controller for 30 amps so I'm hoping to increase the number of panels to 4 if needed. In the high desert near Bend Oregon on a clear 72 degree morning my battery was fully charged by noon. I think there are cheaper controllers out there, but I chose this one because it has 3 charging stages, is solidly built, and includes a battery temperature sensor. Sensor and remote monitoring. Only

Terrible customer service after a broken device.

I will not leave a long review. Basically, I bought the device on June 21st. 200w panels, new 12v DC deep cycle battery. I used the output side of the controller for a small 0.7 amp water pump. 0.7 amps. Worked great for a few weeks. Then it stopped. There is no exit anymore. As far as I can tell, it keeps charging the battery. Customer service said the pump was not working with the device. But is the fan enough? Find out. It's a shame. I really liked the unit. But if the customer support…
