Good fit for adapters: Spare parts

Good adapters to install the sensor in the Honda S2000 gearbox. It was nice that there was a bulk package because we didn't know exactly what size and thread pitch we needed, but the kit came with what we wanted. Made of brass, high quality and no leakage.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Choosing the right replacement parts

I'm having trouble finding the correct connectors to fit the water temp sensor on my Ls engine. The old water temp sensors are too big to screw into the new Ls water channel. After many tries, these fittings allowed me to install a temperature sensor on my engine.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

The fit - sensors

I bought this "kit" of adapters hoping they would fit the threads on my 1975 Ford Courier. The two adapters that came with my first purchase of an aftermarket temperature sensor did not fit. There was one that fit perfectly and got the job done. Not a bad price for my decision.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • unreliable

Spend extra money!

Poor quality. I was trying to put an M12 adapter in my car and it fell apart in two. Luckily I was able to get it out of my head, otherwise I would have looked at a good bill from the machine shop. These are not very durable parts. I recommend paying a little more and getting something that doesn't break when tightened.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Sensor Adapter

These are required for the sensors to work in race cars or cars with a rebuilt engine. In my case I needed an adapter for the oil temp and pressure sensor, bought this kit and the problem was solved. Exchange Integra with engine k20a2. Works great with sealant and threads in body with sensor screwed in. Remember that there is NPT and BSPT. Please check the thread pitch first.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • High Price

Broke at almost 0 torque. Do Not Buy

I used a 12.5 to 1/4โ€ NPT fitting to attach the temp sensor to the back of my motor. I rebuild engines and understand torque and don't over tighten. I used to fit dozens of brass fittings into blocks with no problem. These were by far the cheapest badly made ones I've ever dealt with. He took the little thing out with one finger, and when the key was turned 30 degrees, he gave way and cut the thread. Unacceptable quality.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff
