Erickson Ratching Tie Down Strap

After Hurricane Sandy came and went I realized I needed this to hold things together when a strong wind hits your building or home. The thought of using them to mount a skylight, roof, patio furniture, boat, even trees and anything you don't want to blow away. That might come in handy one day. He is strong and will do his job.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Will definitely be buying more straps from Erickson in the future. I tie my super expensive toys to my trailer all the time and never worry about them getting in trouble. They're probably overkill for tying down a 1500lb toy, but whatever. It's always better to have something stronger than you need. I have no cons - they work great

Good product but made in China.

I ordered these because the price was good and I needed straps for my car carrier. I ordered these thinking they were "Made in the USA" Erickson straps, but they aren't. They are made in China. A very big disappointment for me. On the other hand, the quality is very good. I've used them twice already. No problem. I put a rag between the belt and axle when loading to extend belt life. Generally good quality. There are no problems or concerns here. It appears to be a 5 star product but I give it…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
