I like this mount, for a vent clip type mount it is very strong. My only complaint is that I had to glue the back artboard where it attaches to the vent clip, it felt loose and rotated easily when rotated with the iPhone 12 Pro Max attached. When I did it, it was perfect. The phone feels very secure and will not fall at all. I have a leather MagSafe case so I think it helps with the grip.

I have an iPhone 12 with a silicone iPhone case. The strength of the ESR magnets seems good to me. It doesn't hang around and feels secure when attached. I use Proclip Dashboard Clip + Proclip Garmin Mount for my Acura RDX. If you are interested, you can search the internet for Proclip. The ESR charger is perfect for your Garmin ball mount. I can't find a way to measure charging power, but the charging icon is visible on my iPhone when plugged in.

This product does not fit vertical fan blades. The phone shakes from left to right with every rotation. Also, you lose venting. My trick was to use the tried and tested scoche mount (magic mount model) in unison with this one, resulting in victory. Simply unscrew the ball lock on the back with a small Phillips head and then glue the large magnetic plate that comes with the scoche holder to the back. At this point, a very powerful mount will suit you.

Much better than I thought. If you have an iPhone 12 and a MagSafe case, skip other car chargers and just get this one. It has a ledge on the display case that prevents the charger from sagging slowly. A Type-C cable is also required. (More modern than Apple in this regard). I've just moved from Android and to be honest going back I'm specifically Lisa to mount and switch my phone to a plate and not just lying in some kind of mount.

This charger had trouble maintaining a constant charge with the case on my phone! It's constantly switching from charge to charge every few seconds, which is very annoying when driving at night when your display lights up every few seconds. This is by far the best MagSafe car mount and charger on the market. That being said, this is currently just one of two options available, the other being a Belkin car mount that doesn't allow for charging. Pros: - With a bare iPhone or MagSafe compatible case, it holds the phone very securely. It will most likely not work with a non-MagSafe case as the thickness of the case weakens the magnetic force. Not a very nice accessory. I'm not particularly proud to have it in my car. It doesn't charge my phone at full speed like the authorized one. But it holds my phone in place and charges it (slowly) without having to plug and unplug the cord. In the absence of approved fast-charging aesthetically pleasing mounts, this will do for now.
