College Dormitory Networking Secret

When everyone is looking for information at the same time, sometimes the wifi in the dorm stops working. The ability to connect via a wired LAN took away the headache. Unfortunately, newer laptops are too thin to accommodate a network cable, so a USB to Cat 5 adapter is a must. It is definitely worth it!

Works great, love the design

This is a staple in my Freelancer's bag since my Mac laptop doesn't have a network cable port (thanks Apple!). The design is excellent, protects the business end from pollution. Also includes a tiny, barely visible LED to show it's working. I love it.

Convenient and easy to use

I bought this model for more reliable wired connection for online lectures. It was pretty easy to set up. I just plugged it in and my MacBook Air immediately picked it up and it was plugged in. All I had to do was turn off wifi to connect via ethernet cable. I hope this helps ensure a strong connection during lectures as long as it works well when browsing.

This is a USB network adapter. the best in computers and accessories

Well it's a USB network adapter, it works as expected and the USB plug folds neatly into the back. I'm a bit skeptical about the longevity of the built-in USB cable. However, after a few months of occasional use, it is holding up well.

Great for Chromebook

We recently switched to a Chromebook so none of our devices have LAN ports. I needed to tweak some settings on our home router (which is possible over WiFi but much easier to connect directly), so I needed a way to connect my Chromebook directly to the router. That was excellent. If I had to connect a device for actual internet use and streaming, I'd probably spend the few bucks more for something better, but for what I tried, it was just what I needed.

TP-Link USB Ethernet Adapter. Foldable USB 2.0 to 10/100 LAN power adapter works great for my monster playback, plugs into tape recorder and connects to iPhone 10R. The cord is long enough to sit in a car mount or on a car seat when not occupied by a passenger. Enjoy music from your iPhone from old cars that don't have modern Bluetooth technology. .
