works great for household items

Makes cleaning the fan blades easier. Please note that you will need to provide the stick this item is attached to. It has no threads, so just insert the handle into the fan brush and you're done.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Gets angry

Useless for cleaning tools

Removed some dust but no heavy things. Since it's ONLY a brush with no stand, we still had to climb stairs to clean the fans. I didn't notice the "no pole" part in the description. My mistake and my disappointment. Bottom line: the brush was tossed in the garage if we ever found a use for it. Damn.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good where it works

Two things to note: 1 - We have 2 ceiling fans with very wide blades and they don't slide. It works well with three other ceiling fans. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET. It doesn't come with a pole. After trying many brooms and other handles we had, we found a broken rake handle that fit.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

Poor design works best on household items

I bought these because they had strong bristles that weren't easy to straighten. I have a house cleaning company and I bought 14 heads. We've been using it for a few months and already 3 of them have broken. The wire comes out of the base and then the lobe splits itself and is useless. We are a cleaning company and use them every day and they may not be intended for everyday use and will suit the average homeowner who does a heavy dusting once a month.

That's all?!?! best in brushes

I ordered this in hopes of cleaning my ceiling fan blades. I couldn't because the damn thing didn't come with a pole. Just a mop, that's all. I was surprised when it arrived in a box not much bigger than the vacuum cleaner itself. I assumed it required assembly - no! There is no pole. I'm hoping to find a generic wand that may work but isn't needed on my end as the description doesn't mention that I will only be receiving the cleaner portion of this device. DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Too long to wait

That is so cool! for cleaning tools

I didn't know it existed before. I accidentally bought a mop and brush with extension from the same company and on a whim decided to see what else they sell that I could attach this rod to, lol. I'm so glad I bought it! I used to take a ladder and microfiber towels and wipe down each blade individually. It used to take me about 20 minutes to clean the fan, being careful not to scatter dust. Well, while this does cause some of the dust to fall, it's mostly dust balls. Given that I made the…

Not perfect, but better than anything

This unit was a real find. It does a good job of cleaning the fan blades but is certainly satisfying and easy to clean once complete. This unit is way better than most of the competition because it fits over the end of the blade and you don't have to worry about holding the fan blade steady like you do with open-sided cleaners. Think about it. Due to the terrible competition, you have to somehow hold the fan blade to get the device overboard. How will you do it when the blade moves. Of course…

Pros
  • The brush glides over the fan blades while cleaning the top and bottom at the same time
Cons
  • Very expensive

Another great purchase!

I was looking for a suitable brush for cleaning ceiling fans. I had such a hard time climbing stairs because my ceiling fans are bigger than usual and I'm in my 60's and don't want to climb. I have two with a cathedral ceiling. I also bought an extension. With the rod and this brush, cleaning the fans has become easier and I can clean them more often. When you're done I just rinse the brush and it's ready for next time. I also have a round brush for the ceiling and trim. Especially the corners…

Pros
  • Forked nozzles pull and hold fine dust or dirt

Only fits standard fan blades

When I received the 48211 Ettore ceiling fan brush, I found that it does not fit large fan blades fits; standard/small blades only. According to the advertised dimensions, it should fit most of my large ceiling fan blades, but it doesn't. That means I can only apply it to two of my seven fans. Also, I had to push it too hard to put it on the blade and pull too hard to take it off. In addition, the coarse bristles run over the blades without picking up dust. I bought another ceiling fan duster…

  • Click-lock feature easily attaches to extension pole for long-distance cleaning
