Hello, we used this cloth straight away and it does the job perfectly. The microfiber cover collects all kinds of dust. it is detachable and can be washed for next cleaning. We have other fan wraps but this one fits the Ettore extension to better cover our larger fan blades. It's well made and can be flattened for a flat surface cleaning tool, but bending too much can break simple welds on the wire form under the microfiber cloth. beware.
