The router worked fine but the R8 mandrel was stuck in the router when I tried to remove it so I applied some anti-seize beforehand. When I installed it I have a pull rod and I've had a heck of a time to get it to retract
The only reason I give one star is because I was able to make two gears, but it was the only cutter in the set that cost a penny. I make a half cut in a .300 wide aisle and it fires. Sharpen it with a sub head and same result. I tried using the wrong cutter to finish the gear and the rest was junk too. Wrote to seller asking for a new cutter and no dice. Not that I expected it, but I wanted to try. Buyer Warning.
It is not uncommon for involute gear cutters to sell for $80 or more per cutter, so this set costs $640 . plus a gazebo. At the hobby level, many people choose Chinese cutting plotters from eBay and they are notorious for their problems. The cutters are numbered in reverse order to the B&S standard.
