Worked great for a month. Then it never turns on again. waste of money. Very disappointed, and yes I tried all troubleshooting methods but nothing worked!

Great product for students with dyslexia who need to take a test. It takes some practice to align properly, but all features are great.

This pen has good intentions but is not comfortable for a child to read independently. The main reason I was willing to pay that kind of money for it was to help my child with the words he was stuck on to help with independent reading. However, this pen must be used correctly. Slowly and straight down the middle of the pen to get the words right. As a result, it didn't serve the purpose we needed it for. I returned it as it was too much money to keep and hope for better results.

Well done. My husband has a massive stroke and can no longer read. So that he can read again. It's not easy to deal with. I had to work with him myself to help him. Text to speech conversion is not as smooth as it should be. Reading line after line is difficult for someone who has to listen slowly in order to understand. Completely unimpressed with this product. We'll try to master it for a few more days, but it looks like we're going to send it back.

My son is 13 and can't read. He's on the spectrum and understands at a 4th grade level. This pen is a great tool for him. It's a little tricky to get it working properly and it would be better if it had more human voice and could stop at commas, periods, question marks etc. But our biggest problem lately comes up every time we turn his off. It begins in another language, both reading and texting. He's only a few months old and it's so frustrating. Can someone fix this? We dropped it etc.

A couple of my dyslexic high school students used this pen and found it very useful. It takes a little practice to get better at scanning and sometimes it misreads a word, but most of the time it works fine. You can set it to scan with your right hand (left to right) or left hand (right to left) and adjust the speed. It scans English and Spanish. According to my dyslexic daughter, "The C-Pen exam reader is awesome!" She doesn't use her dominant hand when using the C-Pen, which allows her to slow down and follow the suggestion, thereby limiting the number of errors. We love that you can change the voice between American and British; allows for a more personal experience. My 10 year old has a visual impairment/neuropathy that affects reading. The C-Pen exam is a simple, well-designed tool to use in class rather than constant oral instruction from someone else.
