What's with the horrible sound?

After years of dreaming about a food dehydrator and spending countless hours reading reviews of various brands and models, I finally settled on this one. I've used it 4 times already. First batch: all tomatoes, all 9 bowls are full. The second batch worked well: tomatoes, zucchini, beets. All 9 tar are filled. Worked fine again. See my glowing review below. But I have one big complaint. The dryer is not easy to clean. Please, Excalibur, make a block where the fan and electronics can be removed so that the dehydrator itself can be properly cleaned. I hate any kind of cleaning and would definitely like to take the entire non-electric part of the unit to the tub and wash it. It gets really sticky! In addition, herbs and other light objects fall into the compartment area and can be difficult to locate. Otherwise, my…

This thing is the beast! (And a rattle solution)

I've dreamed of one for a long time because I've heard so many good things about it. I have an old aroma dehydrator that is at least 15 years old and was tolerable but slow. And I know that I couldn't dry some products in it without problems. After drying the excess zucchini (who doesn't have them?!), which took 18 hours, I decided to pull the trigger.
