Great for maintaining the beautiful glossy black color of my friezes and making them super soft! And it smells great too!

I have a sun-bleached black four-legged horse. I decided to use this shampoo to darken his fur. After bathing I noticed that his fur hadn't darkened at all - in fact his fur was a lot more reddish brown than before. I am extremely disappointed. Not recommended :(

I just received this product and the lid was not screwed tight. It's bleeding all over the package and since it's dark it's obviously messed up. After I washed it, it was fine and usable. I couldn't find a way to easily report an issue without undoing it, and I've already removed it. hope it makes the horse blacker!

I have bought this shampoo several times, first on my sun bleached dark bay gelding, I noticed a slight difference but nothing surprisingly darker when we cut it and it turned almost black Coat, I have it kept using it and it has retained its shiny dark beauty along with the UV film! I have noticed a bigger difference using this shampoo than using regular mane and tail shampoo on dark colored horses. I would recommend this to a friend.

If you have a red dog that is fading then this is the best remedy! I've tried several other dark shampoos but this is the only one I can tell a difference with. I have a triaussy red, I only use it on the red, it lathers up well and adds a bit more to the areas that tend to lighten. Leave it on for a good 10 minutes, then I apply bleach to its whiteness and then rinse and blow dry. I don't mix with water, I concentrate. Be prepared but wear gloves if you don't want your hands blue!

I bought this to use on a bay horse that turns dark brown in the autumn/winter. Of course, it does not dye sun-bleached hair, but gives a pleasant shine and emphasizes the color of the coat. The shampoo itself is dark blue in color and smells like blue raspberry koolaid, but rinses off easily and doesn't leave a strong perfume smell. Does not stain white spots. I don't use a full shampoo more than once every few weeks and have probably used less than a quarter bottle so it should last a while.
