Hagen's lamp - not as bright as I thought.

The lamp is suitable for UV lighting, but it is not as bright and by the way does not produce the heat your reptile needs. My turtle spends 95% of the time under incandescent light than under UV light. Save money and buy a 150w incandescent bulb.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

Add UVB to your grow

I have a marz hydro tsw2000 in a vivosun 4x4 tent. As you may know, LED grow lights have no ultraviolet radiation in their spectrum. This is a cheap and easy way to add it inside. UV radiation helps produce essential oils in plants. On a 12 hour light cycle, I've run it for the "average" 4 hours and it seems to be working fine.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good price, best terrarium lights and mats

Good price online and works great with our Uromastyx. Here's a tip: if your lightbulb breaks or wears out, you can take the box to a store that rhymes with petdart and has a loyalty account (free, just with your phone number and other info). There you will get a new lightbulb. even without a receipt (just say you bought it there)

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

No role for pies. for reptiles and amphibians

The light has a high-quality appearance. I just can't use it because I bought it without knowing it's bad for my baby's streaky eyes in the body I'm using it on. coils burn their eyes. My cake kept wiping his hands over his eyes. My light is only 12 inches from my cake! Too close for this kind of lighting. That's entirely my inexperience. There is no fault in the world.

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Available in white only
