Very versatile shoes

I was in need of a new pair of car shoes for my last-minute hikes and disc golf adventures. These fit the bill to a tee. They are very comfortable and supportive when I head out onto the trails. They are breathable, which is fantastic for those longer adventures. They have a decent appearance (though some might say they are a bit "dad” style). One element that I appreciate with these shoes is that they have a removable sole so I can clean them easily. Overall, I would recommend these shoes.

Pros
  • Great light weight shoe. My new favorite everyday. Best on soft surfaces.
Cons
  • Poor support for flat-footed individuals

Big toe box makes them extremely comfortable

I have plantar fasciitis and back issues (the latter of which causes frequent numbness in my left toes), and even tightening/tying my shoes can aggravate the numbness, so I’m very picky about shoes. These Keen shoes, though, are the most comfortable shoes I own. That comfort is in part because the toe box is very large/wide. The rest of the shoe seems proportioned normally, but my toes have tons of room. The overall shoe has plenty of padding; even the inserts are better than most, though I…

Pros
  • Love the feel
Cons
  • Not waterproof, feet can get wet easily

The bad Quality isn’t usual from Keen

I’m generally a big fan of keen shoes, not only do I own three pairs but I have purchased them for my children multiple times as well. They usually hold up very well to my kids rough life cell to put it mildly. So when I came across this particular pair I figured they would be perfect for my 10-year-old for when we do outdoor activities this summer like hiking and things like that wear sandals are not OK and tennis shoes would be confining and sweaty. My son has worn these KEEN Men's Nxis Speed…

Pros
  • purchased for standing at work. Very comfortable so I plan to purchase a second pair for home.
Cons
  • Difficult to break in, causing blisters

Good Fit, Comfortable Hiking Shoe

I found these to be very comfortable. It has a good cushion and the curvature fits my foot well. I am consistently a size 10 in most brands other than dress shoes and I had no issues with the fit of these. They seem to get a little wider around the toes compared to other brands of hiking shoes I have tried. Since these are low cut they are good for day hikes on mild terrain. While they provide some ankle support they are not enough for my troubled ankles on rocky terrain. These are a casual…

Pros
  • Looking for light weight shoe fur hubby for work..this is the shoe
Cons
  • Sizing is unreliable and inconsistent

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Comfortable for a short period.

If you nave over a $100 and like a barefoot waterproof shoe, this is for your, but you can do better for a lot less money. Since these shoes provide no arch support and ankle stability, all they really are is generic water shoes with a brand name.

Pros
  • The shoe provides ample protection from rocks and other debris on the trail
Cons
  • Lack of padding around the ankle can lead to injury

Comfortable with good support

These shoes took very little breaking in; they were comfortable from day one. There is nice support surrounding the heel with enough room in the toe box area that my toes aren't squeezed. The sole has a good amount of squishiness to it making it comfortable yet firm enough to actually provide support while hiking. I've taken this pair of shoes on a few hikes now and these work well. There is a good amount of traction on the bottom and because it supports around my heels it works really well on…

Pros
  • The shoe is designed to be easy to clean, so you don't have to worry about getting dirt and mud off
Cons
  • Not recommended for long distance hikes

This review is for the KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe (10, Canteen/Brindle). Love these shoes for multiple reasons. They look fantastic from an overall design, multiple shades of color, and style perspectives. It doesn’t matter if it’s hiking clothes or casual jeans, this look really nice. They are fairly light-weight at around 1.6 pounds total, with a comfortable ankle collar and cushy foot bed for those long hikes. The protective toe box is a plus, and the outer mesh…

Pros
  • The insole is removable, making it easy to replace if necessary
Cons
  • Narrow fit can cause discomfort and swelling after extended use

Comfortable shoe but wears out super fast.

These shoes are comfortable and the foot bed is very padded when New. These shoes are the most vented Keens that I've ever wore but that also means they absorbed water very quickly when it rains or you walk in wet grass. After a few months of wearing the padding on the foot bed is gone and the tread is almost smooth. I really like the fit of the shoes. Unfortunately they just didn't last very long before wearing out.

Pros
  • The shoe provides ample padding and cushioning, reducing the impact on your feet when hiking on rocky terrain
Cons
  • The heel is hard to break in and rubs against the back of the ankle

Excellent hiking shoes you may want to size up

I find Keens to be mostly true to size. I wear Keen shoes daily and they work great for me. The Nxis Speed shoes not only look nice but they have a great sticky sole. I've worn these many times and the one issue I run into is how small the toe box is. I have an enlarged right big toe knuckle but I can get around daily pain by sticking with my tried and true Keens. These, however, are a little tight on top. You may want to size up if you need to stretch out the top of you toes.

Pros
  • The shoe is designed with a wide base, providing additional stability when hiking on uneven terrain
Cons
  • The overall design is aesthetically unappealing

Soft foam heel for my opinion

This is a great looking shoe with all the Keen features I expect. There’s a removable insole that has a soft arch support and a soft foam heel. The shoe overall is very lightweight with an asymmetrical reinforced toe and heel. The vinyl cladding that surrounds the shoe is integrated into the sole. The sole has a nice deep grip. There’s good padding on the ankle that extends into the inside of the shoe for more comfort. Woven shoelaces are long and include an eye that ties to keep the tongue…

Pros
  • The KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe is one of the best on the market in terms of comfort and performance
Cons
  • Material stains easily and is hard to clean

Light and comfortable with room in the toe area

KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking ShoeI really, really like these shoes. They are my first pair of Keens but we used to buy the, for my son as a toddler and younger child and they always way outlasted his foot growth so I was confident these would be similar. The are a light shoe for a hiking shoe, but that doesn’t mean the quality or durability is lacking. I usually wear a wide shoe, but these I got in regulars men’s width and my toes feel snug but not squeezed at all. The shoe…

Pros
  • The construction of the shoe is sturdy and reliable, providing ample support for your feet
Cons
  • Can cause blisters on the tops of toes

Cool looking, comfortable shoes

I got these because I liked how they looked in the pictures and they didn't disappoint me there when I got them. They are also lightweight and comfortable. I'm on my feet all day and they don't give me issues. I ordered my usual size and they fit right but if you are between sizes I'd size up.

Pros
  • Outdoor
Cons
  • Not suitable for rocky and uneven terrain

Good but Woke best in my review

Super comfortable. But I don't need the woke BS printed on the insole. Keep your politics out of my shoes. That's my review.

Pros
  • Hiking Shoes
Cons
  • Toe box is too narrow, not comfortable for wide feet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not super wide. good for me

These shoes were very sturdy, and well constructed. The fit was mostly good however this shoe was not quite wide enough for my 11 EEEEE feet. I ended up going with Vivo Magna Forest ESC shoes.

Pros
  • Great for Wide Feet.
Cons
  • Laces are prone to tangling and loosening

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super comfortable with extra squish under foot.

Between a hiker and a sneaker / softer than Salomon XA Pro. Insole is not cushioned enough for long hikes. I put a Superfoot insole in and they feel great.

Pros
  • Great padding with Keens wider toe box ,great everyday shoe.
Cons
  • Insole is not cushioned enough for long hikes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

pretty comfortable good for me

seem a bit too light in the padding for the insole, other than that light, airy, and good to hang out in. wouldnt hike too much without insoles

Pros
  • The outsole is designed to provide excellent traction on a variety of terrain
Cons
  • Lacks cushioning around the ball of the foot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent. Another winner from Keen.

As a big fan of Keen shoes but wanting something more breathable, this really do the trick. They fit more loosely in the toes than my other shoes from them, which was a bit unexpected but turned out to be a good thing.

Pros
  • The KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe is waterproof, making it perfect for hiking in wet conditions
Cons
  • Too stiff for comfortable walking or running

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wide footed cushiness

Way cushy foot bed when compared to my previous pairs of Altras. Not a fan of the outer material because it picks up spikey things and snags on plants.

Pros
  • mens
Cons
  • Limited color and style options

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very comfortable. - my new review

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. Lots of cushion. Very lightweight. I ordered the same size I usually buy but they feel like a size larger. So I would order at least a half size smaller than you usually order.

Pros
  • The shoe features a slip-resistant outsole, reducing the risk of slips and falls
Cons
  • Doesn't offer adequate arch support for those with flat feet

A Sneaker with Keens durability!

I had to get these when I saw them. Amazing color scheme and design! The shoe is true to fit, and feels great! Very light yet very durable! These are a must for Sneaker fans looking for something stronger!

Pros
  • Hiking & Trekking
Cons
  • Tends to run big, even after sizing down
