Well not at all what I expected. First, the delivery was very fast and the packaging was safe. The item itself was larger than I expected which was a good surprise, the previous brand I bought was longer and thinner which is totally fine but it didn't have internal fans like these and didn't feel as durable on. The product really lives up to expectations. It looks good, it is compact, the picture is clear and it can achieve excellent resolution. It is perfect for my use and a great help in my work. The cables are good and the way you can map the screens makes any job easier. The sound is higher pitched than I expected but that's not a big deal, it's the fan noise we're all used to but obviously that would be a point to improve. Another point I encountered is that the mouse doesn't work well for Linux.

The product looks and feels solid, which is nice. Unfortunately, as soon as I turned it on, it seemed to me that a jet plane was taking off nearby. Definitely the loudest piece of computer hardware I've ever seen. This one might be good for a server room, but definitely not to sit next to. Too bad because the rest of the product feels good.

I suspect this item is used and not new. The box it came in is pretty rough. One of the corners was dented. The outer cardboard cover looks like it is wet because the printed paper on the cardboard is completely inflated. After removing the case, I noticed a dried white powdery substance clinging to the inside of the case that was gritty to the touch. It shouldn't be anthrax! I give 1 star. I bought this hoping to split my laptop and tower into one wide curved monitor. In this mode, the display was so degraded that it was unreadable. Maybe the 4K version works better, but I returned the device and bought a KVM switch. There is no picture-in-picture or split-screen, but it solves the problem and is significantly cheaper.

I love this multi-view KVM switch/adapter. It's very well built, very heavy. I just don't see how it could be any more useful than a standard KVM switch. I couldn't manage two computers on one monitor. The remote didn't work unless you pointed it directly at the IR display on the box and you had to be 4 inches away.
