This is an amazing graphics card. Necessary.

I like everything about this graphics card. It does what the product description says. I use it to input my camera for video recording. It delivers studio quality audio and video that is better than DVD quality. You can't go wrong with this product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are problems

Works great, easy to install, no connection issues.

I have a newer computer with a Type-C port and need an extra one for the future so this card really works the best. This card comes in handy when you want to add a few extra Type-C ports to a new or even older one. The first thing I will notice is that this device comes with a low profile mount. So if you're looking for something to use on a lower profile computer, this works great. The advantage of a Type-C card over a USB 3.0 card is that it does not require an additional power supply to…

Works with PCI Express 2.0

My version of PCI Express was 2.0, I wasn't sure if it would work. I can't comment on the speed comparison, but I plugged it in and everything worked. You can use the HWinfo64 utility to find out what version of PCI is installed on your system if you wish. The card was much smaller than the slot. It takes up little space but works great.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Plug & Play - Internals

I don't do any testing, but this expansion card installs with no problems. It came with a driver CD, but not necessarily Windows 10.

Pros
  • Not just good for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not bad

Easy installation, no internal power cable required

This expansion card offers the perfect way to add USB-C 3.1 Gen2 ports to any PC that either doesn't have USB-C ports or came with older Gen1 ports. Unlike many USB-C add-on cards, this card has an integrated power converter, eliminating the need to connect a SATA/Molex cable to the PC power supply. This greatly simplifies installation, and if your computer case has a window on the side, you'll have a better view of the inside. My PC is running Windows 10, so it only took a few minutes to get…

Disabled Devices. Bad card for Mac

Accidentally disconnected external devices. Used in Mac Pro. I would avoid this particular item and look for a more reliable company that makes these cards.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Damaged

Tested with m.2 NVMe SSD and chassis

Summary: Using SEKC 256GB m.2 NVMe at a max speed of 1700/1000MB/s (read/write) to confirm this observation to test. As a basis for this test, I connected a UNITEK case with a SEKC m.2 NVMe SSD to my USB-A port, which recorded an expected maximum read/write speed of around 435 MB/s. Then I connect a USB C-to-C cable to port 1 (closer to the motherboard) of the LTERIVER card, resulting in 1000MB/sr/w. I checked that port 2 gives the same results. The onboard USB-C 3.1 port speed was around…
