My unit was not working

I purchased this product to check for a suspected CO leak in a gas fireplace - I wanted to know how much CO is in the air rather than setting off a normal alarm. As soon as I turned on the product, even outdoors, it said the CO level was 80 and the alarm went off. Maybe it was a single issue, I would suspect as each, but regardless of Status = 1, the bad block was returned.
