The description says a 40 inch retractable stick but it isn't. She also doesn't have a remote control. as I could just put my phone on the book and get the same result.

This selfie stick was perfect for my trip to Jamaica. I didn't have to ask anyone to take my photos. I was able to capture every beautiful moment/landscape. The stick serves its purpose! I even put it in the sand and it held up really well. The remote control is a plus!

I love how many different things (Go Pro, iPhone or standard camera) I can mount on a tripod. If you're looking for something useful and versatile, look no further than this tripod. The selfie stick software is quite simple and connects to the iPhone with ease. I highly recommend! I hope they make an even higher version in the future.

Waste of money, the tripod doesn't support the weight of the phone properly. All the photos I took were crooked because the tripod kept tipping to one side or the other. Tried different ways and angles. I'd rather have my phone against the wall than use this. Try to find something with a more solid base or you'll end up with crooked photos or a broken phone if it falls.

This is the longest selfie stick I've ever seen. It's fantastically light and durable. The tripod function simplifies timer recordings. I also use it on hikes and take smooth waterfall photos with it. Just place your sunglasses in front of your phone's camera to dim the light. With a joystick extended, you can take selfies in a large company. I like using it. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one if I lost this one.

Calling it just a selfie stick is a misnomer. It's more like a selfie stick on steroids.
