The external Blu-ray DVD burner now runs very smoothly.

When I connected this external Blu-ray DVD drive to my ASUS laptop, it showed up on my computer immediately and I used it to copy some important files on Blu-ray disc and regular DVD burn. It's ok, I think it's a good external DVD drive. Although it plays Blu-ray movies, you need to download Blu-ray player software by yourself.

The build quality is still so solid

When I had to buy a Blu-ray DVD drive again. I chose this DVD drive. After downloading the Blu-ray player software. ray DVD movies. This purchase requirement is to be able to burn Blu-ray DVDs. It just happened. It's that safe.

Excellent DVD/BlueRay reader.

Excellent. Works flawlessly with Blue Ray and DVD playback on my Mac Pro 2009 and my new Mac Pro 2019 on their built in DVD player and Windows 10 PC with vlc media player. Thin but strong enough. High speed. Didn't use a burner.

Excellent value for money

Make sure you use both USB cables, one for power and one for data. I tried writing with just a data cable and it didn't work, although the device caught fire.
