SLOWER transfer speed than USB 2.0! !

I received this Roofull USB 3.0 Portable DVD and decided to immediately compare it to a very old LG USB 2.0 Portable DVD model GP40. Here's a very simple test and I'm glad I have my LG to compare it to: - I'm transferring ONE 3.5GB file from a Win10 install disk, very simple - The transfer speed of the Roofull DVD stays at around 3MB /s based on 5 minute observation (see my photo) - Old LG DVD transfer rate stays at 4MB/s and eventually increases to 7-8MB/s based on 5 minute observation (see my

Good product! Best external components

This is a very good drive. If you are looking for a lightweight and durable portable drive, buy it. The first came with a damaged front panel. I notified the company and within 2 days a new one was at my door. Used at least 2 dozen times and had no problems. The only point of criticism, which is actually not that bad, is the short cable. I knew this when I bought it, so I spent another $11 on an extension cord. Connecting to the back of my computer just got a lot easier. You can't go wrong and…
