failed miserably the first time it was used. no power to suck water. I ended up cutting off the suction hose, bringing it that close to the water source. It still won't work. Prime the pump according to the instructions, but to no avail. Because I waited too long to use it for the first time, I missed the return window. Now I'm stuck with this piece of junk and a broken hose.

Used twice and started to leak through the shaft seal. Water leaked from the engine area. Very dissatisfied! I thought the warranty was less than a year. But I see it looks like 30 days. Bought July 2919 and retired October 23, 2019. Need free replacement and paid shipping. $100 down the drain! Call Amazon to see if there is anything they can do for me.

I had problems with this pump. Several other reviews speak of poor suction and poor flow. I had the same problem. But the real problem was that the pump had enough power, it pushed the old hose I was using for the suction side even when I cut it just a few feet. I ordered a 10 foot suction hose and a 3/4 barb to 3/4 GHT fitting and all my problems were solved. Thing pumps like crazy when installed with the right suction hose.

The pump looks like a high quality cast iron body but there is no quality control on this product. My first had so much slag in the threads that it was impossible to fasten the brass fittings. The Revain was replaced with another device that worked fine. Once. I pumped through about 250 liters. I plugged it back in today and it's leaking so badly that water is spraying out of the vents that are supposed to cool the motor. It's been 2 days since the end of the return period and Revane won't take

My package arrived without extra brushes, brass hose connectors and a strainer at the end of the hose. I only have the pump itself. It wasn't packaged well. The pump is heavy and the box should have been stronger. Maybe all those parts fell out in transit, but now it doesn't help me much. When shipping a heavy item, don't skimp on the container.
