This connector is a REAL HAZARD! After I connected my power supply to the motherboard via the eyeboot connector, the computer was dead. I checked the voltage on each pin of the 20-pin side of the power supply and they were all correct, so I opened up the middle connector box and installed found that the two wires were swapped (purple and black, see pics) so the motherboard got +12 B to the GND pin and vice versa! This worked partially, but there were some very strange issues including not being able to turn off the PC when shutting down. One of the pins of the 24-pin ATX connector has been swapped. I read other reviews and saw that some of the wires were crossed. I still took a chance and ordered these, but before blindly plugging them in, I first checked under the screen to make sure the wires were crossed. Check the black and purple wires on one side, if they are connected on the other side, DO NOT connect them!
