Disposable plan

I bought these to remove the top of a two story peninsula with metal studs. With a new battery and considering the cables, I used the blade with respectful force. Although the blades severed the metal bolts, they quickly wore out and lost their teeth entirely. Each blade had severed a metal bolt and a half. I don't think it's long term.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • reliability

Works as in the video - cuts like clockwork

These blades cut nails like clockwork. Maybe their ad has a video of a guy clipping a dozen nails in a minute or two. Definitely better than the famous branded versions that didn't last long. No comment on rebar or thicker metal, but also not sure what could cut through so easily. + on first use. Good value for money. Many Thanks

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Working speed

Wouldn't cut my nails

Don't waste your time with this. I thought they would work well for cutting deep nails but didn't even start cutting at any speed. In order for them to work with the dremel multi-max you need to use the tiny clip that comes with the kit, which means you can only mount them in the forward direction. And if you lose a tiny clip that they send out in a pack of six, you're definitely out of luck.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So-so

Hardened screws are difficult to cut through and the blade dulls quickly

The price is reasonable, but trying to cut through things like drywall screws is difficult and the blade dulls quickly. One actually broke off (the extension was welded on). Where the blade works well are all of the softer materials like wood, plastic, dried sealant, and the occasional nail. For cutting heavy metal (e.g. screws), use a reciprocating saw with a suitable blade that will cut through just about anything.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Not durable and the welds broke after a nail cut or two.

I was able to cut 5 or 6 nails into a blade before they were useless. In two cases, after cutting a nail with one blade and two nails with the second blade, the weld between the top of the blade and the part that attaches to the multi-tool broke apart. I see the return window is closed. I used them for a project last week. In the first photo you can see that the weld broke after two nails were driven in. The second photo is after trimming 5 or 6 nails.

  • Great for a small home
