I just can't use it. - Computers and Accessories

It requires a special app download to use this chord that conflicted with what I bought it for, only regret is that it's too late to return it. Now I'm stuck with a cable I can't use.

Doesn't work via VPN

Technically it works. but only via Airplay if you have a Mac. If you're buying it for work and need to use a VPN, this key won't work. VPN interferes with airplay, so it doesn't work.

Works fine once I got it working

Works great once I got it working. First you need to find, download and install the software. Every time I boot I have to invoke the software to initialize the second monitor but it works fine.

Not for me - computers and accessories

Didn't know you had to download something to use it. After trying to download the program for 30 minutes, it was a horrible image and very enlarged! All I wanted was a regular USB to HDMI cable so I could have a second screen while I was working.

Simple and easy to use

I ordered this cable to connect to my Mac Book Air. That's great! I have the latest MacBook and didn't want to buy a lot of different adapters to connect to my monitor and mirror and extend the screen. It worked great! Highly recommended.

Not fast plug and play

I was hoping I could just plug this in and my laptop screen would appear on my monitor. It wasn't that easy. I had to download the software and it doesn't work automatically. The picture quality is excellent. I just wish it was slimmer and I didn't have to think about it.

Clear picture and easy to install

It was very difficult to find a cable/adapter for my old Windows 7 desktop, I wanted to connect it to my TV to send lectures. I teach in high school and it works great. The only downside is that it lags when playing videos. However, I only use it to mirror my power point so everything works fine. I'm so glad the search is over. By the way, I started with a USB to HDMI adapter. I had to send all three back. All of this is out of order. It worked right away.

Not Recommended - HDMI to VGA Adapter

I bought this to connect an external monitor to my Mac Air. It takes a long time to figure out how it works. The seller's instructions are VERY incomprehensible. There is also no product support. I emailed them a few weeks ago to help me use it but no one has replied and there is no phone support. It's also difficult to connect after restarting my laptop. It doesn't connect automatically and I always have to unplug it from the USB and then back again for it to show up in the app that needs to…
