I bought this to connect an external monitor to my Mac Air. It takes a long time to figure out how it works. The seller's instructions are VERY incomprehensible. There is also no product support. I emailed them a few weeks ago to help me use it but no one has replied and there is no phone support. It's also difficult to connect after restarting my laptop. It doesn't connect automatically and I always have to unplug it from the USB and then back again for it to show up in the app that needs to use it. I also have to go through many steps to use it, which seems so ridiculous. I hooked up another monitor with a Thunderbolt HDMI adapter and it's a lot easier to hook up and a lot cheaper. This adapter is too expensive for the amount of work it causes.
