The problem now is that I am ordering from the middle east and shipping with VAT is the same as buying a new item. The box has not been opened or damaged so there is only one reason the item could have arrived dead - poor quality control. There were also no moving parts on the module itself (it was already assembled when received). The quality control should have been more professional. The lights work well with another controller and a daisy chain using duct tape to hold the ends in place considering they work for me.
