What I like: The visor sits up on the cab ceiling like the original Honda visor should have but wasn't, thanks to a known defect (damn it). What I don't like: As mentioned in some other reviews, the clasp doesn't close very well. I can live with that, but I'm a little annoyed that the small closure wasn't made a little thicker. But I take it anyway due to a sagging defect in the original visor. Overall, for the price, I'm glad I got it.

I have no idea how long this versatile part will last but for the money it's a GREAT BARGAIN! Well if you read other reviews you already know that but they are right - adequate cheap replacement but the color doesn't match and the pen is too small and will not engage properly. My son has a Civic with a gray interior. The standard sight, like many others, is split in half at the hinge point. This isn't a show car so I bought it after reading only mediocre reviews. UPDATE. About five weeks after I installed the visor (original review follows), the adhesive holding the plastic sides failed, as did the original. Obviously this replacement is no better than the original visor. There are videos online showing how to attach the two sides of the visor by drilling holes and installing three "screw posts". I bought this to replace a 2008 Honda Civic driver's side visor. Installation was easy, just a few screws. The color of the fabric (see first photo) is lighter gray than the plastic of the visor. The original visor was the same shade of gray throughout (see second image) but the color difference doesn't really bother me.
