🌱 P&M Fabrication Universal 3 Way Lawn Garden Tractor Hitch: Optimize Your Tractor's Versatility Review

First off I have to say this is made out of heavy duty metal and nothing I want to drag behind my mower will bend it. Bought this to transport my Detail K2 wood chipper around our yard. The large bottom bolt used to attach my existing hitch is too big for the hole so I had to buy a 1/2" bolt, nut and washers. Then I had to drill new holes in the back plate of the mower chassis to install the top Y brace. All is well. Feels very durable. Excellent workmanship.

I had to modify the hitch to work with my 2016 Cub Cadet xt1 Enduro 46" hydrostatic mower. I cut off both rear corners (the corners with holes) and drilled two new holes. I mounted mine on a Husqvarna YTH 24K48 and as expected had to drill new holes for the top bracket. I also did a little extra work to cut out the base to better match the "buttresses" of the tractor hitch shelf. Because I abused my 9 year old, the record warped. So I used two 3/8" holes in the base of the bracket to add screws and attach everything neatly. I installed a bottle jack under the hitch and saved it before tightening the bracket bolts. Installed on my Hustler Fastrak and it fits well. This mower is slightly different from the rear of the tractor, but it still works. The "Fastrak" engraving was right where the support bracket mounting bolts should have gone in, so I used a couple of 3/4" washers stacked behind the 3/8" washers to provide a surface for mounting. I really like this clutch option. Others were too high, this one feels just right. I used it to tow a 4x6 trailer behind my property and haul several loads of sticks and firewood off a fallen tree.
