Poor quality control but great product!

bolts do not match the handle. The screws are the wrong pitch and won't thread into the handle at all. Several other reviews mention this. I'm not sure if it's just random ones that aren't handled properly. I've ordered a replacement and will update my review if it works properly! *Update* The second handle ordered as a replacement is perfectly fine. Looks great, easy to assemble, screws fit perfectly. I would say there is some risk in getting a poorly made set, but Revain makes replacing it so

Clown Pennywise? INDEED?

Product works great. Too good. I always thought it would be nice to be able to open my barn door easily, but it turns out that simply opening the door helped me catch my lover with another man. .and not just a man. a man dressed as Pennywise the clown. And she always told me she HATED scary movies. It turns out this romance has been going on for quite some time, but my struggle to open the barn door without a handle gave Pennywise enough time to escape through the bathroom window. Bad Manufacturing

Bought two of these and both had the same annoying problems! One of the two holes that accepts the screws is too small for a turn or two of the screw, so I couldn't get the rod to the door. Local hardware stores didn't have a black screw that worked. Eventually the problem was solved by adding a very thin washer between the rod and the decorative round piece (see photo) at one end. The backplate was also slightly warped on both devices. I recommend looking elsewhere unless you like a 10 minuteโ€ฆ

The ones I've edited well after enlarging one of the holes and replacing the screw.

There are two "stands" holding the door handle. They attach to the main vertical handle with two small screws. One of the holes in the main handle on the one I received was cut out so the "post" didn't fit in the main handle. I have a set of taps and dies, so I used an oversized tap to increase the size of the hole and replaced the mounting screw with the one I had at the store. It took about an hour. After I did this, the handle assembly installed correctly. I could have returned the pen for a
