Weak plate bends when the faucet is tightened.

Cheap, poor design. There is no support adjacent to the faucet hole. So when the faucet is tightened to the plate the area at the hole deflects down and the ends of plate deflect up. Aside from the bent aesthetics the plate does not seal to the sink. Returned this piece of junk.

A little too thin: my feedback

Reason for low-stars is because of the plate’s thin gauge. When tightening down the faucet assembly the ends raised up. Had to leave the faucet too loose and it has a tendency to move/spin.

Pros
  • Made going from three hole sink to one hole sink easy
Cons
  • The cover plate may not sit flush against the sink, resulting in gaps or leaks

Very thin plate and not recommended

Very thin plate and does not support the faucet. Please see video. Not recommended Compliments my new Aimadi faucet and the corners don''t bend up like in some of the other reviews..

Pay More for Quality

This item is inadequate for use. There is no support just a foam water seal which defeats the purpose when the ends raise as you tighten the faucet and water can run underneath unless you use caulk to fill the gaps. The astedic are poor because when you look at it the ends are raised. Very disappointed in this item.

Here's how to fix the "bending " cover plate common complaint.

I previously had a 4" set faucet installed in this sink so I needed a cover plate to hide the two holes. This escutcheon covers the holes, looks nice and matches the finish on my Fapully sprayer. Heads up though, because as you tighten the main nut down to secure the faucet to the sink, this lightweight cover plate will flex and bend up at the ends. Bad design, here's the fix: Take a piece of 1 1/4" PVC pipe (or a 1 1/4" pvc fitting which are only about $2 each at big box stores). Using a table

Not what I expected

This would have been good if it had not bent when I put it around my faucet. I was expecting it to be a little more sturdy than what it was.

Thin & Flimsy good for me

This is just an okay item. Quality is suspect. Very thin and flimsy. I removed it as it flexed way too much when moving the faucet. If you’re using a stationary faucet you’ll probably be fine.

Nice appearance but looks aren't everything

This only has a single point of attachment (in the middle). The end result is the side edges flex up when you tighten up the faucet and a noticeable gap appears. It does have a nice appearance and maybe will work better for others, but it didn't work for me.
