Beautiful appearance, well made. The mounting hardware is well designed to securely attach the crossbar to the wall so it can also work well as a support rail.

It should not be used as a safety rail, it is attached to the anchor with a small set screw which will loosen over time causing the bar to detach from the anchor.

Great design but there are manufacturing issues that bother me. 1. The heated towel rail is rattling. There was no way to make it more durable. 2. It wasn't fully chromed. The sides have been chrome plated while the handrail part and towel rail part look like polished stainless steel. If these two issues don't bother you, then this is a great design. I brought this back and decided to make separate railings and towel rails.

Had to cut drywall and add blocking. The supplied system does not work. If you drill a 1-1/4 inch diameter hole to insert a large pry bar in the drywall, the mounting tab will be only slightly larger than the hole you just drilled, and when you screw in the fastener there will be no support underneath because there is a hole. The fastener should be flush with the surface of the drywall. The competitor's drum screw is similar, but the mounting plate is much larger and can be supported by drywall

I love the looks and practicality of this rod/towel rail combo. I took off a star because only one screw is used to attach each end of the bar, which isn't really enough for a real handrail. Luckily I installed it in our extra bathroom and my mom is short so I think this mount will be safe enough for casual use.
