This was a great help to get rid of dirt on my iron. I struggled with homemade cleaning products for a good 20 minutes but couldn't get rid of them completely and even resorted to a stainless steel cleaning pad - a big no for an iron. After receiving this product I used it on the remaining deposits and 95% of them came off fairly easily. Will definitely be using this again and not wasting my time with baking soda, nonsense or acetone like I used to.

After dropping the hot iron on the carpet and covering it with melted carpet, I was ready to replace it. I found Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner and the reviews gave me hope that it might work. They consume so little that one tube is sufficient for several applications. My iron looks like a mirror again, brand new! It literally took 10 seconds max. This is an amazing product that saved me $45 on an iron replacement. Brilliant!

I was sure I'd have to throw away another iron once there was foil on the bottom of the plate and it wouldn't slide smoothly over my clothes and instead would stick to anything that had more wrinkles caused were then in the first place. In less than 10 minutes, this thing completely cleaned my iron plate so it was shiny and like new! My iron is used for embroidery so it leaves a lot of residue of stabilizer, starch etc. My iron is about a year old and is still good Lot of extension so I used this one and it worked great. It took me 4 applications and so far not everything has been removed, almost everything has been removed. I would like to take before and after photos. The instructions say there may be smoke.
