unless you want to replace it every 30 days. Bought 12/12/11, received 12/14/11. On January 19, 2012, the light mysteriously stopped working; already burned out. I don't use this lamp often and there would be no reason or reason why this lamp would stop working other than it being defective or its lifespan being a fraction of the 2000 hours advertised for this product. Do not buy this product. At $6.78 it's a waste of money.

Works great! I liked that there was a chart on the packaging to keep your old lightbulb next to it to make sure you got the right size before opening it. (Of course, ordering online is less convenient than choosing from the store, but at least you can return it unopened if it's NOT the right size.) I expect it will be in a few years. before I know if it delivers on its longevity promises, so I can't comment on that site.

I was looking for a 35w G8 base lamp for under cabinet lighting. I could only find 20w G8 base bulbs - in a home store and at Revain - then I stumbled across these. This is a 35W G8.6 and I ordered it to see if it would fit my G8 plug and it does. You just have to line it up and use a little more force to push it into the slot. It works and hasn't worked for me for the past two months. I returned to order more. Bonus tip: They tend to blow faster if you hold them "directly" with your fingers…
