This laminator was purchased in May 2015. It's February 2019 and it's still working great! Been using it for 4 years with no problems. I notice that it is not used daily and not even weekly. The purpose of this laminator was to laminate several sheets of cardstock, paper and cards for some of my board games. As a teacher I have access to a free large laminator, but it is not available in the summer and it often 'breaks', mainly due to the fact that the other teachers don't follow the instructions when using it work him. However, it is FREE and it is a 1 mil double sided lamination which I am OK with as my purpose of lamination is to protect the item from contamination from frequent handling.
