TUFF Collar Dog Fence Receiver: Durable Replacement Strap for Maximum Performance Review

I use wireless fences to protect my pit bull. After over a year of daily use he loves his collar so much he doesn't like taking it off anymore, his old one was dirty and worn out. This replacement works great and he accepted it because it was the same color as the old one.

The photos in this listing show that this collar was made by Tuff but when it came out it clearly wasn't. Also note that our dogs do not have 26 inch necks and there is no other solution for smaller necks than to let the extra material dangle freely. This is an instant payout. Strong Butt! Nylon is cheap and fragile, as is the collar buckle. This collar survived all three uses/episodes of grooming my German Shepherd. The edge of the collar perforation for the receiver is a few millimeters from the edge of the collar. The collar itself is very thin. So thin I wouldn't even dare put a collar that thin on my cat. I bought another really strong collar to work with my receiver.

I bought two of these to replace the collars that came with the wireless fence system. Apart from the red color, the two collars I received were nothing like the standard collars. They are only about 1/2 inch wide and have very thin nylon straps, anything but "heavy duty". The collars were wide enough to fit holes for the receiver. I'll discuss this with Revain.
