I've only had it for a few weeks but I expect it will hold up. good weight The surface and teeth are appropriately rounded so as not to irritate the scalp or damage the hair. Of course there are limitations due to the metal material, but my only wish is for the "fine" teeth to be closer together. The spacing between the "fine" teeth is about the same as the "regular" teeth on a Conair plastic comb.

I finally gave up after hearing so many great things about how metal combs can remove static electricity from your hair. I live in Iowa, so my whole house is full of static electricity in the winter. I've been using the comb for about a week and for me it works best when I'm just stepping out of the shower with wet hair that has already been combed out with my regular brush. The material is strong and fits the hair well and is easy to clean and store. It can tug on stubborn hair at times, but otherwise works well for the price.
