Poor bluetooth performance even with external antenna

Your mileage may vary but I haven't had any luck with this card and bluetooth. WLAN performance was ok. When the processor tower with Bluetooth is less than 5 feet away from the Magic Trackpad, I didn't get a signal and couldn't connect. I've tried orienting the antennas in a variety of ways, with no cubes. Then I read that some people with external antennas got lucky. I bought Bingfu external antennas (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TT4DCPR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc…

Attention gigabyte users!

T919 works natively in macOS on my Hackintosh but was causing power issues on my Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard (version 1.0 with the latest f10c firmware). The computer started turning back on after a system shutdown/shutdown and then goes into an endless reboot loop until you unplug the cable. It also happens randomly on power up (before the BIOS loads, so it's definitely not an OS issue). Toggling the ERP settings and the dummy load settings in the BIOS fixes this, but it's not ideal as…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No form required

You need drivers from Fenvi website for Windows 10 (I don't have a CD drive so I downloaded it), while Microsoft has gotten exceptional in that almost all hardware works without you having to install drivers yourself, it's a unique card and that's why you'll probably buy it . Also, Microsoft cannot automatically install drivers if the hardware is new and not yet integrated. So download the Windows 10 drivers and they will work as soon as you install the drivers (or use the CD that comes with…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

It works great, just set up your ports and pci slots properly

// This card doesn't seem like a straight out of the box oob solution after all. Weird thing, I've looked at this and actually read on some forums that it actually works, I won't rate it until I speak to someone at fenvi personal first//-------- ---- ------------------------------------------- ---- ------------------------------------------- ---- -- ------------------ It worked in the end, I had to reconfigure the internal USB expansion mapping and PCIe slots. It works great, although sometimes

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • For the old

Adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to your Hackintosh

Adds Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hacking capabilities. Works out of the box with macOS, which is great. No problem. The only thing with this thing is that the internal USB for bluetooth can be a bit noisy so it can auto wake your system if you try to put it to sleep s3. In order for your hack to sleep without waking up automatically, you need to make sure that the USB port that the jack is plugged into is configured as "internal" in your hack's USB SSDT or kext. This way the system stays in sleep mode…

Pros
  • Ruggedized
Cons
  • Damaged

I bought this for my Hackintosh after BT stopped working on my previous PCI Wi-Fi/BT card. Works without kexts and that's a big plus, plug and play! But the Wi-Fi performance is unstable. After some trial and error, I found that the card doesn't like it when my FiOS router is set to "Self-Organizing Network" (I only got 20Mbps!?). It also doesn't work well at 2.5GHz, it likes 5GHz a lot more. Now I get 150 to 200 Mbps at 5 GHz. I will experiment with different antennas and see if I can improve…

ATTENTION! NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GIGABYTE Z390 MOBO

GUYS BE CAREFUL! THIS WIFI/BT CARD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GIGABYTE Z390 MOTHERBOARDS. THIS CARD CAUSES POWER PROBLEMS. (GENTLY BACK THE FENVI TEAM BACK TO ME. THEY ARE VERY TOUGH GUYS) INSTEAD OF THIS, I'M TRYING TO USE AND ORDER Fenvi fv-hb1200. I SEE MANY USERS SWITCHING TO THIS AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM. GIVE 3 STARS FOR THE HELP OF THE FENVI TEAM. THANK YOU This is my review of the T919. Hello, I am writing here because this object is not compatible with my system and is…

Absolute F***in POS

Claims that this POS is Plug n Play are completely false. You might notice that a lot of Hackintosh fans here are raving about this card and it's great for them, but if you're like me and have a REAL Mac Pro 5.1 and want a boost in WiFi and Bluetooth speeds, then stay to hell and take it away from this garbage. I'm currently using Mojave 10.14.6 and this crap just doesn't work. The included driver disk is useless if you don't have Win7, 8 or 10 as the drivers are ONLY for those systems. I…
