Works great - Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing

Worked very well to connect the drain pipe under my sink to the outlet side of the P-Siphon. Zero leaks when tightened enough. Sufficient clearance on both sides to adjust the inlet/outlet pipe.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled

Dimensions listed are incorrect

The quality of this adapter is good. The 2 x 1 1/2" diameter listed in the product title and description however, are incorrect. Although these measurements are listed on the adapter itself, I got very different readings when using calipers. The actual inside diameters of this adapter are 2 1/2" at the large end and 2" at the small end. Approximately 3 1/2 inch

Pros
  • 2.41" x 1.84" x 3.39"
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good product, works as advertised.

I had to saw off half an inch of the sink drain pipe in a 1951 bathroom because the swivel nut had frozen solid to the drain pipe and I couldn't apply much force without risking damaging the old cast iron drain pipe. So I used this to connect a new plastic drain pipe to an old cast iron drain pipe and it seems to work fine - no leaks. It was a little awkward to tighten the clamp on the side of the drain pipe as it was very close to the wall, but that's not a problem with this item. I had to…

Pros
  • To connect any two pipes
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
