Warm Chickens - Heat Mats

I guess my chickens are glad they got this. The nights are much warmer for them. In fact, I saw her returning to the cabin on one of the last frosty mornings.

Not durable - heating mats

Purchased for duck coop. One worked for a month and a half before it stopped heating. The power switch is on and tells me the heater has power but is no longer heating.

Portable Heater - Terrarium Heat Lamps & Mats

I wanted to use this to heat the puppy kennel for our dogs. Unfortunately the heater turned out to be faulty as it wasn't heating properly and producing very little heat. Finally returned the product.

Very good! - Thermal mats

These find wide use on kittens, piglets, goats and every other animal we have! We plugged it in and it's getting really hot! Just make sure you have space to sit up straight as it's not for her like we thought!

Stopped working a week after the return was closed

At first it worked well, heat dissipation was not impressive. stopped working at the end of October. I have another brand that has been in the chicken coop for years. It was stored indoors and not exposed to the weather. It took about 6 weeks.

The heater works well after the repair

I did not know that the product was defective. It's too late to return. So I thought what the hell. I removed the screws on the on/off switch to reveal a thin wire that was attached inside the switch. Didn't pull full power from outlet. I fixed the cables and now the unit heats up. The orange rectangular heat detection sticker will turn orange when working properly.

Really amazing.: Heat mats

Bought to heat the rabbit hutch. Have it in the barrels they supply and about 4 inches out of the cage. I plan to install it under the rabbit hutch to keep it warm inside when the temperature in my basement really drops. I had a 100w setup and was amazed at how much heat it put out! I can't imagine how hot it will be if I put 200 in it. I plan to order another one soon to keep our chinos warm in her body. We have a pen in our bedroom that he sleeps in. He is blind from diabetes and pees…

Very happy with the purchase!

This is exactly what I wanted! I bought this for my turtle dog shed to set the temp/timer when the temp drops at night so at least they don't get cold. They don't dig deep just to hide (Hermann). The kennel is on legs with the floor removed to allow the space to be ventilated and allow turtles in and out under the frame as a high roof shelter for temperature control. I was afraid the heater would be too big after ordering it (I'm not very good at sizing) but it turned out to be the perfect size
