Quality light on brake and taillight assemblies, parts and accessories

Easy to install. Works and looks great, huge update to my old center light that was moldy and discolored. As others have noted, it does NOT fit snugly or flush with the truck like the original, due to the thickness of the gasket it extends about 1/4" beyond the edge of the truck. At first I wasn't sure I liked it, but in the last 24 hours I've decided it's ok and well sealed so I'm happy with the purchase.

Works great with high mounted brake lights

This was the easiest change. Remove the old lamp housing, keeping the factory screws and leaving the hinge nuts that the screws go into. There will be three pears, 2 brakes and 1 rear, we remove the pears. Insert a white adapter into one of the brake slots and the other into the reverse slot. Yes, you have an open socket, but you don't need it. Some say the shim is flimsy, but you can replace it with an aftermarket shim (look for it). Remove the screw and bolt that came with the new case and…

Nice cheap upgrade from chrome to black

Looks good. 2014 f150 XLT. The gasket is thicker but seals well when the headlight is screwed in. I used a clear silicone gasket around the gasket on the rim of the headlight and when I tightened the OEM bolts the excess silicone oozed out. I know I won't have any leakage problems. I also used the same silicone for the screw holes to create a seal there. You can see that, but you have to look for it and look straight at it. It's plug and play. All you have to do is take out the old bulbs and…

Looks great, but it's leaking!

I bought this lamp to replace the factory lamp as it is known to leak and cause rusting on the cab corners. Got it in the mail and everything looked great, it had a thick foam backing that definitely wouldn't leak...right? Not correct! Fast forward to the present, my ceiling has water leaks due to that stop light not working on the seal. The foam pad shrank leaving a thick gap between the headlight and the truck body and letting water through when it rained or when I was washing my truck (all…

LEAKAGE followed by hours of work to remove mold from the interior

First good tip/lessons learned: Install lights and pour plenty of water thoroughly. Then check for leaks IN THE CABIN. As it spills, it wets the ceiling trim and falls in the center of the rear window. It leaks badly and doesn't tighten enough due to the very hard rubber gasket (AND YES, I carefully removed any residue from the previous light). The result of a hard and leaking seal was significant water ingress. The ceiling of the rear cabin was completely soaked in the area of the rear window,

Just like 1.2.3. Did!

I received the package and it was in excellent condition, the product was bubble wrapped inside and the lens was shrink wrapped. Very beautiful and protected. I gave this overall rating 4 stars simply because there were no instructions. Were there two simple rubber washers? So I have nothing to install. However, everything is straight forward and simple. Remove the old bulb/housing, unplug the factory bulbs and plug in the new LED squares and Boom! you are almost home After reinstalling the…

Light ok, seal no.

I bought this to fix a terrible third brake light problem on a Ford F-150 of a certain year. When I first received and installed it, it had a thick seal. I've worn it literally less than a week since I received it and during the first rain, not even heavy rain, I noticed that the leak in my ceiling was even worse with this new light than the old one that had it replaced. When I took it off to see the problem the gasket, which was quite thick and spongy like it was a week ago, was now flat and…
