Love brush made from hazelnuts. They are soft but tough and take shape quite easily. Wide range of sizes and the handle is long enough for the style of sketching I like. These are light and simple brushes that I will buy again.

Paint on handles cracks and peels when wet. The bristles fall out too. These suck. Try a different brand. I have bought many brushes at this price from Revain and these really are the worst.

I've used these brushes with acrylics, watercolors, watercolor pencils and even Derwent ink pencils. They work great and leave a good result when the medium is applied to paper or canvas. I would definitely recommend these brushes to artists of all levels.

These brushes save me from the animal cruelty associated with my favorite animal hair brushes. They seem to hold their shape and spring well. Acrylic paints will eventually ruin brushes, but I'm looking forward to using them for a while. PS Actually, I didn't need a long handle. I use them with acrylic paints at the table.

I've been drawing (in oils) for a long time. I'm picky about my brushes and these brushes are a great value. I have a lot of brushes, very expensive ones, Rosemary & Co. My favourites, but I have to say I'm impressed with these brushes, I'm ordering a second set. and the blue one doesn't come off the handle? So what! Who cares! Highly recommended!

It would be nice if the brushes were sent in a box. Sent in a Manila envelope, the brushes were slightly curved at the tips. They seem to be straightening out, but there are a few more that have a slight curve at the top. Because of the arrangement of the tip I bought it. I was a little disappointed. Many Thanks

I guess I shouldn't have expected too much from a great set of brushes at a low price. Two large brushes fell apart. I used pliers to push back. The ends of the smaller brushes are splayed, making smooth application impossible. I won't call it junk because it would be considered bullying. If you're looking for cheap brushes that will stand up to minimal use, then these are for you!

These are good working brushes for everyone. I'm a professional artist, I work in oils. I wash my brushes in turpentine first, then wash them a little in mild dish soap and water, and finally hand wash them with bath soap. These little hazelnuts seem hardy, with useful tips and sturdy bodies. The little ones are quickly replacing my tiny Brights because these Gilberts hold their shape and are easy to use. I love these brushes.
