🐠 Finnex Marine+ 24/7 SE Advanced Aquarium LED Lighting System with Remote Control Review

I've been trying it for three days and all my corals are shrinking during use killing almost all of them. Regardless of the quality they use in LEDs, it's not for a reef tank. Maybe the aquarium is only for fish. I had no problems with remote or 24/7 scheduling. But like I said I wouldn't use it for a reef tank. It's not because of the intensity of the light, but maybe because of the wrong color choice.

24/7 Marine+ SE I actually had one for a whole year and 4 months ago my remote died completely. Replaced, really. Now I wake up this morning and it doesn't work. I checked everything. I tried another light in the socket and this light works fine. So I know the outlet isn't bad. And I wish there was an easy way to contact this company but there isn't. It was good when it worked but I don't think I will buy this brand again.

I really like the ramp feature on this light. I use a 48 inch lantern for 55 gallons. Seems to work well for mushrooms and soft corals. There is no extremely rapid growth, but nothing is dying either. Two of these would probably be perfect, or just buy a better light if you want to keep the SPS. I purchased this light for my 75 gallon live rock fish tank (FOWLR). Has been working since 8/1/19, no problems. It's MUCH brighter than the included LED and has a much wider color gamut (at least in my opinion). The 24/7 autotuning is absolutely flawless. I love the "set it and forget it" feature! Just received and can confirm the high-pitched whine the unit makes at all settings except MAX. I contacted Finnex support, they replied that this is normal. Will be returned as soon as possible. My 24" Fluval marine light has stopped working so I used a Fluval 2.0 emergency backup grow light while looking for a replacement. So I chose this one from Finnex. Very chic and attractive. However, the mounts leave a lot to be desired. Finnex supplied this light with fairly cheap looking clear plastic modular brackets.
