But large seeds can not be put on the inside, it will feed stuck under the box.This small Clear Plastic feeder is expressly designed for birds as small as finches and canaries to green cheek conures, parrotlets, and Lovebirds to cockatiels.

Works as intended

Definitely only for small birds. I wouldn't go for more than one budgie on these. Fitting was easy enough, I would measure the door opening before purchasing to make sure it would fit. Fiddling with the screw required some dexterity that I seemed to lose, and since it potentially left my door open to little escape artists I had to secure the door with a clamp or something. Otherwise, it took the birds some time to get used to it, but eventually they realized that the food came out regularly. I…

Good extended feeders for VT, read full review, not internally mounted when I bought them.

PLEASE NOTE THE DESCRIPTION IS INCORRECT - Advantage: This feeder can be fixed inside or outside the cage. This is an external feed. Many other sellers with the same feeder have added hooks for inside mounting but not this one. I needed them ASAP, I placed an order and they arrived in 18 hours! But they wouldn't work the way they were sent. I modified them with homemade hooks, washers and nuts/bolts. If you must do this, make sure the curvature of the hooks is the same for each pair and that…

Chaos Savior!

I bought this for my zebra finches. They are notorious for flapping and flying around their cage and throwing debris out of the cage. Didn't realize it had two separate compartments, bonus. I am transitioning her from a seed mix to a higher quality dry food diet. With two compartments I have both foods and I can easily see if they are both eating foods which they are doing.
