I installed this part on my Dyson DC7 Animal today. It was a perfect fit, no fit or screw hole issues. My Dyson is working like new again with a new handle assembly. As others have pointed out, this is a non-genuine part with slightly thinner plastic than the genuine part; but I have a feeling it should hold up pretty well. The gray color doesn't bother me.
