I bought this for my Shih Tzu because she doesn't like it when her hair is long but when it gets cold she needs something to hold her up to keep warm. She weighs about 12 pounds and I bought her a medium. It fits her well and sits well on her legs, but the length from head to bottom is too short. It's still quite comfortable to wear, but I think I'll take more next time.

This dog sweater is awesome! I bought one for a new 8 lb puppy and really liked it so I bought another for my bulldog mix. Sizes run a bit small, so choose one size larger than you think. I got the XXL for a 72lb bulldog and it could use a little longer but still fits, albeit quite snugly. He is 24 years old in back but huge chest. This sweater is the best I have ever bought from her. Although I consider her a small dog, most dog clothes are too small for her. I ordered 2XL in blue. Her bust went down in the XL column, but length went down in the 2XL column. To be honest maybe her XL would have been fine because she is very stretchy, she comes out of her hind legs when she starts to walk. I was able to fix this by simply tying up my back legs.
